Hi Barbara, Paulo, a good start could be if someone would collect the requirements for an import extension viewn from actually practising this task.
Although my time for OO.o is limited nearly to zero currently it will surely be helpful if there is some guideline to look at when trying to implement something usable (me in the future or somebody else).
