Where's the best place to put it for you, Paulo, and whoever to review?
I'd suggest re-opening the issue and attach a document to it. That way
it doesn't get lost. From my experience anything that is not an issue is
non existent to the project. ;)

If you talk about a evolving document (and I suppose you do), then the
Wiki might be more suitable, IMO.

Ah! Yes, that sounds like the right way, but I haven't gotten into wiki writing yet. Probably time to learn!

you can start writing in OOo Writer and then export to Wiki format (yes, OOo has an export filter). At least that helped me to get started...

You can follow the way taken in http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Export_Resolution
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Export_Resolution_Draft2

This also started from an issue!

Let me quote Regina in http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=4499 *****************************************************************************************
You can start with the template
http://specs.openoffice.org/collaterals/template/2.0/OpenOffice-org-Specification-Template.ott
(see http://specs.openoffice.org/)

You need not worry about developers and so on, but fill in your proposals and leave blank the rest. Then you contact the mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] (see http://ux.openoffice.org/). You will get advisewhat to do next. I think your proposals will likely be discussed there directly otherwise you will be point to an appropriate place.

You will find a template for a specification in
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Specification_Template
******************************************************************************************

I'm not sure if moving this to the UX mailing list is a good idea (not everyone here is subscribed there, and on the other hand IMHO discussions there end up in laaaaaarge mails - that at least me don't have time/patience to read...)

Regards
Ariel.
Thanks, Ariel -- very helpful!
