My 2 cents:
Simplify: this does not mean remove functionality or dumb down. Example 
-  if I want to run SQL statements (not created via the wizard) there 
are different ways (depending on what I want to do) to do this found 
under different menus (Tools - SQL and Insert - Query (SQL)) would be 
nice if it was all together.

Better / new integration with other OOo apps. Example - if I store an 
image in Base, I might want to look / edit / update it via Impress / Draw.
