I like the way you ask for that.
Im only a base user and i came from another office software that
included in some cases a desktop database.
Here some more Ideas for Base insirated by reading the list from
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Base/Features/Pool
Forms:
easy possibility to open forms from within forms (without extensive
macro knowledge) and make it easy possible to filter the form that
opened. The same would be good you can open reports from forms.
It would be good, to find a way to save the froms or reports for
unintentional changes. (Do not allow to open in designmodus e.g. by
password protect)
Database:
copy in the table data view (make it possible to copy a hole dataset
and insert them as new dataset at the end of table)
