Well, I never was offered the option of sending the OO.o crash report, only the report to MS. ( my fault I forgot that those reports are temporary and if you don't send them to MS they are purged when the dialog is cleared..)
Tried to recreate the crash this afternoon - doing what I thought was the same thing, and nope - rock solid - not so much as a hiccup.
Came back tonight to work on that report(s) and guess what ...the crash was a bit different, but at the same time similar - I tried to run a query that was not accepted by the HSQLdb engine, when I clicked to clear the error box the application hung.
