I hope you sent the crash report :-)
Well, I never was offered the option of sending the OO.o crash report,
only the report to MS. ( my fault I forgot that those reports are
temporary and if you don't send them to MS they are purged when the
dialog is cleared..)
Tried to recreate the crash this afternoon - doing what I thought was
the same thing, and nope - rock solid - not so much as a hiccup.
Came back tonight to work on that report(s) and guess what ...the
crash was a bit different, but at the same time similar - I tried to
run a query that was not accepted by the HSQLdb engine, when I clicked
to clear the error box the application hung.
You can find the files that MS error reporting was going to send after
I killed soffice.exe (including a dump of the soffice process space of
110 MB - zipped down to 16 MB ) at:
http://www.oucv.org/download/WERbf80.dir00.zip
<fileman.cgi?cmd_do=cmd_edit&work_path=htdocs/oucv/download&c_edit=WERbf80.dir00.zip&>
Not sure you guys can use that, but hopefully.
ah - sorry, just realized there is data in that file that MS collects
which I don't want on the internet..
I'll send direct email with the new location.
