Hallo Frank
I would try to answer from my side as user
So for the forms it could be
good, to make another property in the form:
Something like defaultview: [MainForm] or [TableControl]. So you can
build a form and change only the view to [TableControl] and have
the behaviour from the [TableControl] or back.
I think I get what you mean, but not what you want to achieve by that -
could you elaborate, please?
To create an form with view as TableControl you need
1) one Form and then
2) the TableControl field on the 1. form
In my opinion it would be easier, you build only one form and can
change the view to TableControl.
In this case you get more flexibility by using forms and subforms.
Now i have the problem, something works in a form, but not in a
TableControl. I mean e.g. the list box i misuse before.
I think, that when it works one time, i can use it in a
subform(displayed as TableControl) too. And the developer could be
have only one construction area?
This mechanism is standard on Access97 with another part of
displaying the forms in an endless mode what is sometimes helpfull too.
No i don't want to make Openoffice Base like Access, but i made my
first steps there.
Thanks
Ulf
