To create an form with view as TableControl you need
1) one Form and then
2) the TableControl field on the 1. form
In my opinion it would be easier, you build only one form and can
change the view to TableControl.

Ever tried the "Data source as table" button in the "Form navigation"
toolbar?
Thanks for the hind, i didn't know this feature. It is helpfull for
a few scenarios, but not in the case of my "feature wish".
