Last year. I had started to port the latest FreeBSD sound code; the work-in-progress branch is visible here: http://gitweb.dragonflybsd.org/~ftigeot/dragonfly.git/shortlog/refs/heads/pcm_2012 Caveats: - a possible locking bug, watching youtube videos causes a hard reboot.
