The implementation would be JVM specific and it would require that we
actually have a separate launching to launch Felix in a separate
process
and monitor it. I just don't see that happening any time soon.
It would not be too difficult for somebody else to provide a launcher/
wrapper that does this. Maybe that's a path towards being able to
update the framework too.
