Hi :)
In Xp you would click on the "Start" button, then "All Programs" - LibreOffice 
and then right-click on Writer and choose "create short-cut" or 
"Send to" - "Desktop (create short-cut)"
and then do the same for Calc

I'm not sure about the menus in Win7 but i think they are fairly similar aren't 
they (well, once past the "All programs" bit)?

Using version 3.4, just installed on Windows 7.  Is there any way to separate 
the apps and make icons for just Writer and Spreadsheet?
(They're the only apps from LO I ever use.)  It's a pain to have to open the 
whole thing and then select one.
