Start|Run|regedit 2. Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ and scroll down to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/LibreOffice - click and see if you have this entry 'QuickStarterInstalled' and Data value of '1'. 3. It is possible that an admin previously had tried to perform a silent install and failed, so also please check to see if you have an entry for Openoffice.org at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/OpenOffice.org). If so, please click on that and see if you have the QuickStarterInstalled entry and Data value of '1' as well. Don't do anything in the registry (yet), just report back on what you've found.
