Hi :)
I really do not know anything about KDE at all.  There were some earlier posts 
about KDE3 but not about KDE4.  Hopefully someone else might have ideas

Is it possible to add a customizable menu to the panel in KDE 4?  In KDE 3, at 
least you could create a section in the main menu and then copy that section to 
the panel.  All I can find in KDE 4 is the menu launcher, which simply 
duplicates the one that's at the left end of the panel.
