However, clicking the checkbox, available in my Ubuntu build of LibreOffice is much easier and faster. ;-) All that I am saying is: For some users the option "QuickStarter" is a matter of convenience and does not relate to the question, how fast the application starts up. So, eliminating QuickStarter should have a good reason, which has not been mentioned in this thread, so far, has it?
