I have a MFC-J6710DW . I'm using the 386 driver, I only found a 64-bit for the scanner which I have not tried yet. My system is hooked up usb2. Printer: mfcj6710dwcupswrapper-1.1.1-1.i386.rpm mfcj6710dwlpr-1.1.1-1.i386.rpm
Scanner: brscan4-0.4.1-1.x86_64.rpm (Not installed yet) Went back and tried again. I can print in portrait with lpr and LibreOffice and Okular. on openSuSE 12.1. I have not tried on 12.2 Beta1 as I'm needing to reinstall it (YaST and zypper Quit working). Not sure what to take screen shots of. When this first started Cups reported print job as complete on landscape jobs. No errors in error log. Now job is not even getting to cups. I'll report it to the address you showed below., and I can test fixes if necessary. I think I install the Win driver on my XP guest on Virtualbox and see if it prints.
