The quickest way, if you want to install those mss TTF core fonts from the repositories, is from a terminal. Just copy this line into a terminal and hit Enter. Note that the keyboard shortcut for Paste is Ctrl+Shift+v, if you didn't edit those yourself: sudo apt-get install ms-corefonts-installer The package contains: Andale Arial Black Arial Comic Sans Courier New Georgia Impact Times New Roman Trebuchet Verdana Webdings If you only want to use Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New, it's recommended that you use the free fonts from the package fonts-liberation instead (probably already installed on your system. Those are called something like Liberation Sans (looks like Arial) and so on.
