Hi :)
Grrr, sounds like a nightmare.  Have you tried renaming your user-profile to
see if that does the trick?
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile

Is it just that it keeps trying to recover the same file?  Does it give a list
of the documents it is trying to recover and is it always the same file no
matter which document you try to open?  What happens if you click the cancel
button?

Regards from
Tom :)

LibO_3.6.0.4_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US problems

First, using the method I always use (download via torrent, unpack, install
Debs
using "sudo dpkg -i *.deb") resulted in a freeze at launch, right after splash
screen. Investigating, I found that previous versions 3.5.5 has not been
uninstalled by the 3.6.x install. Not typical behavior.

Removed 3.5.5, reinstalled 3.6.0.4. It now launches OK, but sees all by
document
files as corrupt and won't open them - "general error". I have no idea what the
problem might be.

Any help would be appreciated.
