matters.

Some advise on how to get rid of this without deactivating the screen
saver?

Hi. What version of LO is it. Just as a test, in
options>Load/Save>General, try un-ticking "Save Auto Recovery
Information" and "Always create a backup copy".
This may be related to a long standing issue that is difficult to reproduce.
