I'm quite pleased with Crouton. It has some quirks here and there, but once you understand them, it really works well. Neither Crouton or Chrubuntu are exactly like using Ubuntu on a typical desktop of notebook, but I do consider both of them to be young projects which will only get better with time. My wife has been thinking about tablet for several months now. After seeing my chromebook, yesterday she asked for one for her birthday!
