Believe it or not, I just downloaded this a few days ago -
          now with yet another recommendation, I'll make a concerted effort
to get to know this program; thank you.

Notepad++ has enough colorcoding to satisfy my needs.
After trying lots of WYSIWYG editors I returned to Notepad++ to get a clean
code.
But, when new to HTML coding, a dedicated editor is a good help.
At start the question was how to get the HTML code from Writer. This thread
has moved a bit from that ;-) .
