Good if you built it, but that's not the right solution.

I'm puzzled because it should build directly on anything Red Hat-ish
with the prerequisites from the readme.  There was a similar complaint a
while ago, but I didn't get any more information.

Could you make a bug report?  Does the qtcsh configure find the curses
library (indicated in its output)?  If not, look in config.log for why.
If it does find it, is it missing from the generated makefile for some
reason?  (Any bug must be in the original tcsh distribution, but I'll
try to fix it.)

Why not use the source RPM for centos, though?  If you want a
post-8.0.0d version for a particular reason, you can use the
gridengine.spec file with the more recent tarball after editing the spec
file for the version number and the new tarball name.
