Honestly, I am really unfamiliar with how man pages work behind the
scenes. We installed two separate grids and the problem is showing up
on both (RHEL5 with latest YUM updates), these are the links in my man1
directory. Notice there are no .gz extensions on the destination which
seems wrong to me. Is that really a problem? In the older, 6.2u4,
there are no .gz's and there doesn't appear to be any symbolic links in
the man1 directory, so something has changed here.

-rwxrwxr-x 1 gridadm gridadm 23661 May 31 14:19 submit.1.gz
<- Notice this has a .gz extension.
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm    15 Jun 12 14:46 gethostbyaddr.1 ->
hostnameutils.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm    15 Jun 12 14:46 gethostbyname.1 ->
hostnameutils.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm    15 Jun 12 14:46 gethostname.1 ->
hostnameutils.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm    15 Jun 12 14:46 getservbyname.1 ->
hostnameutils.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm     8 Jun 12 14:46 qalter.1 -> submit.1
<- None of these have the gz extension.
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm     8 Jun 12 14:46 qlogin.1 -> submit.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm     8 Jun 12 14:46 qresub.1 -> submit.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm     8 Jun 12 14:46 qrsh.1 -> submit.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm     8 Jun 12 14:46 qsh.1 -> submit.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 gridadm gridadm     8 Jun 12 14:46 qsub.1 -> submit.1

No I'm lost: the main complaint now is that there are missing links in
the $SGE_ROOT/man tree?
