-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Well, I'm not in the UK actually. I'm in Sweden, but UUNet UK was the closest provider I could find that would respond to my inquiry. And, it is rather satisfying to have a major ISP as the provider, because I can be fairly sure that my tunnel won't break over night. No offense to small ISPs (the one I've got for dialup access only until recently was a small one, and I was and am very satisfied with them), but when it comes to experimental projects it's a very different story from production networks. (IPv6 versus IPv4.)
3FFE:1100::/24 sounds reasonable, yes. Thank you for the pointer - looks like that can give me an IPv6 address or two to test with :-) Michael Kjrling On Jan 28 2002 20:32 -0000, Tim Chown wrote: > > UUNet UK has 2001:600::/35 as well as another prefix under 3FFE::/16 > > which I do not remember off the top of my head, and you can write them > > at [EMAIL PROTECTED] They require (as every tunnel provider as I have > > understood it) that you create three objects in the 6bone whois > > database (whois.6bone.net): a person, a maintainer, and an "ipv6-site" > > object.
