I'm writing an IPv6 application that needs to know local IPv6
addresses and their prefix lengths (or "netmasks" in the IPv4
terminology).
Most systems have some API knobs for this, though they are not
necessarily portable, but I could not find such a knob for Compaq
Tru64. It's possible to get local "addresses" by the SIOCGIFCONF
ioctl, but there seems to be no way to know the prefix length of each
IPv6 address.
Does anyone in this list know a clue on this?
