To create a minimal complete example, start with some code that demonstrates the problem. Keep throwing away bits of the code that you think don't matter -- but you have to check that it still shows the problem (that's the "complete" bit). When you finally can't throw anything unnecessary away, but what you have still shows the problem, you have your minimal complete example. Sometimes, part-way through this process you understand the problem and can fix it. And you may learn new ways to throw away code, or how to write code that easily comes to pieces when you need it to. But it won't happen without you practicing. I'm not going to attempt to explain GitHub here. Or even Git.
