Cache issue

Guys,   Just wondering if kannel holds any cache. If it's any can we clear the cache before starting the bearerbox.   This is because I'm experiencing some strange thing where in a sudden the box is sending out messages without a request from mobilephone. Just for your information my kannel is connected to SMSC and only sending out messages when there's a request.   Regards, Permata
