In that case just delete the storefile or move it somewhere else. Of course make sure you shut down kannel first.
Out of curiosity are you connected to Celcom or Digi ?

Guys,

   Just wondering if kannel holds any cache. If it's any can we clear
   the cache before starting the bearerbox.

   This is because I'm experiencing some strange thing where in a
   sudden the box is sending out messages without a request from
   mobilephone. Just for your information my kannel is connected to
   SMSC and only sending out messages when there's a request.
