Hi,Sierra Wireless make their own Linux drivers. Go to their site and download them. You might also get their AT reference manual while at it.

I saw some people using init-string = AT+CGDCONT=2,"IP","ISP.CINGULAR" you told me to use init-string = AT+CNMI=2,1,2,0,0;AT+CMEE=1 Is there a way somehow to combine both strings since you said CMEE is the modem error verbosity. Since the modem works on XP, I assumed it "could" also work with a linux setup Would using another modem possibly solve this issue ? and what is the most well know modem I could use for that ? the destination number is in international format?? I see 16xx9x0xx30 if so, in the sendsms call you must add the plus sign before the number ....&to=+16xx9x0xx30&.... you must urlencode the plus sign (it is %2B) Kannel might be sending your number as a local number Regards Alvaro |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Envνe y Reciba Datos y mensajes de Texto (SMS) hacia y desde cualquier celular y Nextel en el Perϊ, Mιxico y en mas de 180 paises.
