That's fine np. The Carrier ID is sent out by the aggregator because I was able to get that using another script however, Kannel doesn't seem to recognize it for some reason. I am afraid with the US carriers it wont work the way you described as the numbers keep on changing often. The sender's mobile carrier, is known only to the (sender's) smsc and doesn't reach kannel. However, you can deduce the carrier from your local prefix numbering scheme. I.e. in Greece all 977xxxx mobiles are Cosmote, 979xxxx Vodaphone, etc. (example not necessarily correct).
