The CVS documentation is on the "Download" page on Kannel's site.
If you'd REALLY googled a bit, for example "kannel cvs documentation" would have pointed you to that place as well: http://www.kannel.org/download/kannel-userguide-snapshot/userguide.html#AEN876 READ the text on the right of each command. If that's not enough for you, take a hint from the error codes you get when you miss the extra parameters, but you MUST be able to figure out from there.
