Hi, Anything can happen between your application, sms gateway, smpp gateway(if any) , smsc and probably some other node within the telecommunications network like the msc. However first rule out that the problem is not your side.
Do you send a reply within 5-10 seconds from your sms gw to the smsc even when there is a delay on receipt of the message to the phone? Do you get any acknowledgement from the smsc? Do you actually have a stable connection between the sms gateway and smsc (operator)? You may want to do some routing tests. Post detailed bearerbox logs that the kannel users can go through and advise. BR, Peter.
