The Tidradio TD-H3 is programmable directly via a simple USB cable. The
only difference here is that Virtual Serial Port emulation (VSP) is
carried out within the radio itself, rather than within a programming cable.
CHIRP sees the emulated serial port of the H3 just like any other serial
device it is presented with.
The H3 can also be programmed via the K type speakermic connector, in
which case, VSP is emulated within the programming cable as is more
typical of most radios.
CHIRP does not yet support BT programming.
