I hope someone here can help me figure this out.
I just got a Baofeng UV 5RM, and I'm trying to copy over some memories from
some of my other radios, like some Baofengs and a TD H3.
I'm trying to paste in about 64 channels, and Chirp keeps telling me that the
format is from another radio.
Here's the message:
Unable to upload this file
This is a radio-independent file and cannot be uploaded directly to a radio.
Open a radio
image (or download one from a radio) and then copy/paste items from this tab
into that one
in order to upload
OK
And I exported a CSV from the radio before I tried to program it, and saved a
copy, likewise with an image file.
Then I opened the CSV from the 5RM in a word processor and I opened one of my
CSV files that have the memories I want.
I only pasted the columns under the matching column headers.
Then I went to chirp and downloaded again from radio, and did control N for new
page, and I pasted the stuff in the CSV that I just edited.
Then I got that above message when I tried to upload.
This has been really difficult since the changes that came with Python3X.
