I'm using the KDE Spin Live DVD I downloaded from a google search to get

How confident are you that you got an official version from Fedora?
And does it pass verification checks?
Hi Tim, I can't be 100% certain as I don't remember the url as I didn't
take a lot of notice of it as I believed at the time I was getting it
from a Fedora site. What verification checks are you referring to, I've
never been aware of any?
There's a checksum file you can download to verify that the iso is correct.

There's a download button and a check button for each download. If you
click the check button, you'll get an explanation about how to verify it.
