Just a small update here, for record: an update this week to Duolingo or to 
GrapheneOS or Play Services, or two or all three, appears to have Duolingo 
store working even when not signed into the Playstore. 

I hope this will stay like this forever. Becasuse who knows if this new 
behaviour is a bug or the actual intended feature?
