Just adding my 2 cents.
Last time I did a clean setup was about two years ago and I have been
upgrading through dnf since then.
oomd has not been included.

pepebuho@pepewin:~$ dnf list oomd
Updating and loading repositories:
Repositories loaded.
Available packages
oomd.x86_64 0.5.0-15.fc43 fedora

I am using the XFCE distro
