Hello, all in all 2025 had a similar vibe to the years before. Spending time on reworking parts of the block I/O stack, while also working on different topics throughout the year, was nice.
Attending FOSDEM as well as FrOSCon was especially fulfilling as familiarizing someone with Genode leads to interesting and fruitful discussions most of the time. Although I planned spending time on certain things, e.g. retiring VBox for my personal usage, I was hard pressed for motivation, which resulted in little progress. With that in mind I am going to treat 2026 like a blank canvas and see where it goes (w/o any ulterior plan).
