I've set:
log_detail=modules,tracking,policies,protocols,cache
So the policy handling should be logged, but it isn't.
What do you mean by "do you have policy setup"?
I have a setup which is based on the default sql entries, so I have
those five default policies and bound the amavis to the "default" policy
with Priority 0.
Did I miss anything?

Without any policy resolution information, you cannot see if any
policies are being matched and subsequently if Amavis should even be
used. Regardless of any subsequent messages you get, we need to take
this on first, make sure your policies are resolving right, then check
that the Amavis module is being used, and then check the results of that.
