Gordon,
Primary X problem was missing gnome-panels.
Is anaconda one of the missing utilities? I have been using it to modify
the applications menu.
Anaconda is indeed one of the packages that doesn't build on ARM. I
think this might have been fixed very recently on Fedora, but that is
about 6 Fedora releases newer than EL6 (based on Fedora 11-13).
Is there a scheme to record the "current" rpm configuration to regenerate a
second disk image?
You mean something like:
# rpm -qa > rpms.list
How about a memory device to "img" file on host?
I'm not sure what exactly you are referring to.
Today it is failing to boot. Complaining about e2fsck on mmcblk0p2. Google
should help.
Have you got e2fsprogs installed?
