Where can I find instructions for installing Redsleeve on a Cubieboard2?
I have SD cards build for Fedora 19 and 20 remixs and have working SD
cards for Fedora 21 alpha.
I don't think anybody documented installation on Cubieboard2 yet. If
you have it working with a Fedora image, it should be a simple case of
preparing a new image based on the Fedora one, extracting the RS
rootfs, and copying the contents of /boot, /var/lib/modules and
/var/lib/firmware over from the Fedora image. If there are any special
driver considerations/options, you may also need to copy
/etc/modprobe.d over.
Unfortunately, I need a lot more help than that. For now, I want to boot
from an SD card, so I have to build the partitions: /boot, swap, and /.
Do I build them with something like Gparted on my F20 notebook?
Actually, I have one that has F21 pre-alpha on it, and I can use it as a
starter as the partitions are there.
Do I then copy the tarball onto / and with what utility?
Content for /boot from a F19 or F20 /boot? I don't want to use the F21
as actually some things (like the video!) don't work yet.
So is this sort of information on the WiKi? I have not found it yet. But
my search foo is always a bit weak.
