yes that's the important point, if your mp3s are bad it's probably not
grip's fault, more likely whatever encoder and parameters you're using.
You should check that it's really the mp3s fault, though. Try to read
them with a bunch of different softwares.
It could still be audacious.
However I doubt an upgrade of audacious will happen, given the error
message you got:

I don't see rpmforge upgrading Glib2 :-)
