what's your arch, i386 or x86_64?
i386.  I foist 64 bit woes on my kids :-)

then you could start by uninstalling nspluginwrapper, it's for x86_64 and it could interfere with your plugins.
eg it doesn't seem to like the newer flash.

I believe I read that using nspluginwrapper is recommended, because it lets plugins run in a separate thread or process or something, so plugins can't crash your browser.

See http://macromedia.mplug.org/ for a bunch of tips and tricks for running flash-plugin 10 (removing libflashsupport, installing libcurl, installing both i386 and x86_64 nspluginwrapper on x86_64, etc.).
