you can use it offline by specifying the -o switch (or setting maven.mode.offline in ~/build.properties). However, you will need to manually construct a local repository of JAR files and other artifacts so that Maven can find its dependencies. The structure will need to be identical to http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/ <http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/> (although you'll only need the specific JARs you and the maven plugins use). - Brett
