Transitive dependencies fetching will be implemented in maven, | but AFAIK not in 1.0. | You've to define all dependencies in your project.xml.

Wow, no kidding. To me that would seem like a killer feature. So I'm
back to micromanaging my jar relationships? This especially becomes a
problem if struts releases a 1.2, but upgrades their dependency
versions. Then I have to watch their project.xml files and copy over
the changes with every release.

Yucky.

Maven is a cool idea, but without that feature, then to me it's a big
website generator. Ant already does all the building and has all the
tasks I need. Once maven does have the transitive dependency fetching,
I'll jump right on it.

Thanks for the help!
