Sounds like a good idea.
But please understand that the project is maintained by volunteers, so
eventually, they can choose not to maintain some parts.
But it's all open-source, and by the way, it has a very permissive
license, which can help maintain it outside of Apache (except
groupId/artifactId), which will need to be changed.
