Hello,
With the continued development on maven 1.1 and 2.0 and continuum it
would be nice to have an announcements mailing list so that people can
be notified when things are released. I mean, I'm not a regular user
mailing list subscriber and I don't visit the maven site often because
maven 1.0.2 "Just works" for everything that I need it to do.
I just happened to be going through all the projects that I'd be
interested in being notified of new releases of this morning and
happened to see the announcements of maven 2.0 beta1 and continuum
alpha4. If I hadn't happened to be looking for an announcements mailing
list I never would have known about either of these releases and since I
don't regular visit the site or subscribe to the mailing list I probably
wouldn't have known for quite some time.
Any chance on making this happen?
