I am using the same POM from SVN as my other team members.
All of them are able to do "mvn install" with the same settings as mine.
Thats why I'm more concerned...

Then you have something very weird happening, because as that message says:
   "Error deploying artifact".

Maybe someone has screwed up your pom (or one of its ancestor poms) by binding 
the maven-deploy-plugin to a non-standard phase?
