I would tend to agree David. I am just trying to understand what Jorg
was saying.

Or perhaps is this one of the cases where running an install during a
release prepare is acceptable.

If anyone else, or any Maven expert, has some advice on this, please
pipe in. My goal is to try and get projects up and running using best
Maven practices.
