THANKS!
I defiantly owe you a beer or two!
So when you say you changed the servlet mapping for NonFacesRequestServlet.
Do you mean you changed...
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>NonFacesRequestServlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/NonFacesRequestServlet</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
to
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>NonFacesRequestServlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/faces</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
And then just used the URL...
http://localhost:8080/servredirect/faces/NonFacesRequestServlet?id=1
Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
i just played a bit with your app.
when i change the mapping for the NonFacesRequestServlet to "/faces"
than it works!
For a reason i currently don't know, (and also have no time to
investigate) the form action is prefixed with the servlet name. So using
the mapping "/faces" is a hack, but works.
BTW: the download url just points to a frameset, i need to extract the
correct download url from the html source.
Regards
Volker
