Richard, I have made a small webapp based on JSF and it was rather painless, except for issues with objects getting detached. I decided I wanted to build a larger webapp, but then came across the jsf scalability warnings. As I dont want to run into scalability problems, I decided to use struts2. Well, it is way harder for me to put up something useful in struts2, the learning curve is steeper.
Now I am facing a choice; continue in struts2 or switch to jsf for my big webapp project. Please advise; is scalability really an issue to consider?
